California Sea Lion

La Paz

Sea Lion Colony

In October 2016, I took a boat up to a sea lion colony north of La Paz. It was one of the most exciting moments of my life. The adults and especially the pups were extremely curious, intelligent, and playful. This adult female immediately swam up to me blowing bubbles and gracefully swimming about showing off all of her acrobatic moves.
