Every winter the sardines migrate through this area in Mexico and the sailfish are never far behind. I was 30 miles offshore looking for the tornado of frigate birds circling above which signals there is a bait ball below. I jumped in the water to see 80 sailfish circling a bait ball of sardines the size of a dump truck. One of the hardest shots because I was swimming as fast as I could just to keep up with one of the fastest fish in the ocean.
